GROUND BEEF AND TOMATOES MOROCCAN TAGINE



INGREDIENTS:

★ 750g ground beef
★ 3 tomatoes (cut to small pieces)
★ 1 medium onion (cut to small pieces)
★ 2 tbsp tomato sauce
★ 3 tbsp minced parsley 
★ 1 tsp cumin
★ 1 tsp sweet paprika 
★ 1 tsp black pepper 
★ 1 tsp ginger
★ 1 tsp salt
★ 60mL sunflower oil+olive oil
★ small cup of water
★ 4 eggs

                                                                         parsley

                                                                   minced parsley

                                                                        cumin powder

                                                               black pepper powder

                                           
                                                                    sweet paprika

                                                                   ginger powder



STEPS:

- On a low heat put tagine, add oil (sunflower oil+ olive oil)and onion;

- Add to ground beef 1/2 spices (1/2 tsp cumin, 1/2 tsp sweet paprika, 1/2 tsp black pepper, 1/2 tsp ginger, 1/2 tsp salt) and 1/2 minced parsley (1 and 1/2 tbsp), mix to get a homogeneous mixture.


- Add tomatoes to onion in tagine;


- Mix tomato sauce with water;
- Add to tagine tomato sauce and the rest of spices and minced parsley, then mix and close tagine;



- Leave tagine to cook for 10min;
- Form ground beef to medium balls;


-Add the ground beef balls to tagine and close it; leave it to cook for 15min;


- The last step, add eggs in tagine.
